The threaded stem of the glide allows for it to be adjusted up or down, often to eliminate "wobbling' on un-even floors. Available in many base materials and sizes. Choose the glide base first, then choose the threaded stem that you need. These have a ferrule that wraps around the outside of the tube and a spring-steel clip that grabs onto the inside of the tubing. Designed with an internal shoulder that grabs onto the inside of the tubing. We have many sizes in round, square or rectangular, that should fit all popular tubing. The tubing leg rests on the steel platform. For square sizes: the square plastic platform helps to keep the legs of stacking chairs from scratching when stacked. Clear vinyl is our standard since it will match any color chair frame. The nail drives into a wood leg. Our high quality nail on leg glides also have a plastic cushion that helps silence the furniture and keep it from "chattering" when being moved. Check out our felt base glides below that offer the new high tech "ring nail" that holds better than a traditional nail. These are also popular as "Crutch Tips". Use the rubber version when you do not want the leg to easily move. When you have hollow tubing consider the option that has a steel washer installed that will keep the leg from cutting into the glide. The plastic versions are vary popular for folding chairs. The choice for delicate floors where other materials may leave scratches. The felt helps "pad" any dirt that may have been picked up from the floor.
