Stamped metal caster sockets accept a standard 7/16 inch. diameter friction ring caster stem. Typically used when a strong caster socket is needed. The steel platform rests on the bottom of the tubing and keeps the socket from inch shearing inch into the tube. Spring steel clips give excellent pullout resistance.
